Full blogging should resume next week – The Worship Poole should get going again on September 1st, and I start preaching again on the 7th.
The summer… it was wet. Shame about that. But we had a great time with the friends who visited and spent as much time as possible on the beach.
The Olympics were compelling. I exceeded my monthly 15GB internet limit watching the BBC’s live streaming, something normally only obsessive porn addicts manage to achieve. How good does it feel to be better than the Aussies?! Roll on London 2012.
Newday was brilliant. It was my first time at an event like that since handing over the reins of re.vive to Joel Virgo at re.vive@soulsurvivor in 2002 and I hadn’t realised how much I had missed it. Downloads of my sessions are available here.
Last weekend was Acceler8, our regional Bible weekend. This was also excellent and I look forward to it growing in the coming years – I think it will become a highpoint of our church year.
As I write this the Red Arrows are flying past my window – the Bournemouth Air Show being in full swing. Pretty cool!
This week has been nose to the grindstone, getting through the backlog and fighting my way into the future. Its good to get the gears working again.
More next week…
